The BH365 Education Foundation offers two notable scholarships. The prestigious Dr. Walter Milton Excellence and Achievement Scholarship, presented by the Black History 365 Education Foundation, honors students who exhibit exceptional merit and academic achievement. Eligible applicants must be accepted into a college or university and declare a major in business, STEM, or medical fields. Recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 to retain this annual award. Designed to support students throughout their educational journey, the scholarship extends benefits to those pursuing graduate studies. Dr. Milton emphasizes the foundation’s dedication, stating, “We are truly honored to serve the young people of this Great Nation,” highlighting its mission to empower the next generation of leaders and innovators.

 

The Evelyn B. Jackson Scholarship serves as a beacon of hope and empowerment, supporting the aspirations of extraordinary young individuals. This scholarship celebrates the resilience of children with special needs and those who have overcome significant health challenges, providing opportunities for post-secondary education. It also recognizes the altruism of students who have volunteered to uplift and assist children with special needs, promoting a culture of kindness and inclusion. By investing in these outstanding students, the Evelyn B. Jackson Scholarship inspires a brighter future where every dream is achievable and every contribution valued.

Currently a senior at East Carolina University, Zaniya is pursuing a major in Biology (Pre-Dental) with a minor in Business Administration, aiming to graduate in December 2025. She is deeply committed to academic excellence, leadership, and community service, values that continue to guide her educational and professional aspirations. Zaniya's ultimate goal is to attend dental school and become an orthodontist, merging her enthusiasm for science with patient care to help individuals gain confidence through their smiles. Her journey exemplifies perseverance, purpose, and an unwavering dedication to excellence in all her endeavors.

Trinity Carter, a sophomore at Texas State University,  is recognized for her dedication to community service and academic excellence. Pursuing a major in Business with a focus on Agriculture, Trinity is passionate about using her education to create meaningful change. Her strong commitment to leadership and service drives her to make a lasting impact on her campus and in her community, reflecting her belief in the power of giving back and leading with purpose.

Evelyn B. Jackson Scholarship Recipient

Evelyn B. Jackson Scholarship, awarded to Emilio Cabrera. Named after Evelyn Jackson, a beloved community figure, this scholarship recognizes extraordinary children with special needs or those who have overcome significant health challenges, offering them opportunities for post-secondary education.
